Kristen Samz is a proud
Colorado native with a passion for the outdoors and an eye for all things beautiful! She has been trained in all areas of
the wedding business such as etiquette, vendor relations, wedding day procedures, budgeting, and the latest trends. She earned
her designation of Professional Bridal Consultant through extensive training and education with the Association of Bridal
Consultants, and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. Friends and colleagues would say that her
organizational skills and attention to detail are what makes her stand out from the rest, but when you work with Kristen,
you get more than just a planner, you get a personal representative and friend. From the moment your working relationship
begins, she is there for you every step of the way! Her relationships with vendors in the wedding business save you valuable
time and money. Her fresh, youthful outlook on trends and design allows for a one-of-a-kind experience. Her creative spin
on "do-it-yourself" ideas allows you to be an integral part in the design of your dream wedding, while
saving you money!
Kristen's passion
for planning weddings began when she designed and planned her own wedding in September 2005. Set in the majestic Colorado
mountains, it was an affair that her friends and family are still talking about today! From that, A Current Affair Weddings
and Events was created in 2006, and continues to grow in leaps and bounds.

Kristen lives in Colorado with her family. Originally
from Aurora, Colorado, she lived in various parts of the country before returning to her home state in
2003. She has a degree from Texas A&M University, and worked in the service industry for 8 years before
becoming a Bridal Consultant for her own wedding business.
